Mazak Focuses on Multi-Tasking Technology at CMTS

Florence, Kentucky, October 19, 2009 – Mazak Corporation Canada will showcase a variety of multi-tasking machining solutions at the 2009 Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show. The machine tool manufacturer's Multi-Tasking with “Done-in-One” machining concept, which improves accuracy and productivity, will be demonstrated on the following manufacturing technology solutions in booth 21001 from October 19 – 22 at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada:

  • HYPER QUADREX 150MSY: provides Multi-Tasking with powerful twin spindles and twin milling turrets with Y-axis capability and delivers highly efficient and productivity for manufacturers with high volume production.
  • INTEGREX e-420H-ST II: realizes “Done-In-One” 5-axis machining with 40 hp, 12,000 rpm milling spindle with B- and Y-axis control for complex, heavy parts manufacturing. The newly designed lower turret adds the power of fast metal removal when used simultaneously with the upper milling spindle.
  • INTEGREX i-150: provides 5-axis machining and completes small, complex components from bar stock.
  • QUICK TURN NEXUS 200-II MY: offers 8-inch chuck, 35 hp, 5,000 rpm turning spindle with C-axis control and milling turret with Y-axis travel, and delivers turning, milling, off-set drilling and grooving capabilities.
  • VERTICAL CENTER NEXUS 510C-II: is highly reliable 3-axis vertical machining center with a 51.2" x 21.7" table size.
  • VARIAXIS 630-5X II T: provides 5-axis machining plus turning operations with a 40hp, 18,000rpm vertical milling spindle and trunnion rotary (and turning) table and performs contouring and high-speed machining for complex parts.
