Here are just a few of the industry "firsts" that we have developed over the last 3 decades:

• Mazatrol Conversational Programming – Mazak was first to introduce conversational programming in 1981 as an alternative to traditional G-code. This intuitive system allowed operators to be trained in days rather than weeks.

• Multi-Tasking Machines – In 1983 Mazak introduced the Multi-Tasking concept to the world with a turn/mill machine that started it all. Today, we continue to be the leader in Multi-Tasking technology with machines that perform simultaneous 5-axis cutting, producing parts Done-In-One.

• Mazak Palletech System – Mazak's modular design introduced flexibility and expandability to the lean manufacturing cell. Today, there are more Palletech installations in place across the globe than any other modular, palletized system.

• NEXUS Machines – In keeping with the needs of today's global manufacturing requirements, NEXUS was the first machine tool family to be manufactured in 5 countries at the same time. This allows standardization for companies on a worldwide scale and has resulted in the placement of more than 10,000 turning centers since its introduction in 2002.
