Like other Technology Centres within our North American network, the Canada Technology Centre is a state-of-the-art facility for process applications, turnkey systems and engineering solutions. Strategically located in North America's most important manufacturing regions, Mazak Technology Centres are a vital connection between Mazak and our customers. These facilities allow us to provide unique solutions specific to the industries in their regions. They also create a precious resource for similar industries within the network. For example, an aerospace application developed in the West Technology Centre in Los Angeles, California might benefit a Canadian aerospace customer in Ontario. This creates an even larger base of knowledge from which our customers may draw.

Customers who use the centre have access to expert personnel, as well as leading supplier partners in tooling, workholding, material handling, quality inspection and CAD/CAM software. This allows you to address your unique challenges and develop the best manufacturing solution to:

Mazak's Canada Technology Centre is a 2,044 square metre facility with a large Technology Hall containing the latest Mazak machine tool technology for customer application development, engineering prove-outs, and even short production runs. This includes:

• Horizontal and vertical machining centers
• 5-Axis machining
• Multi-Tasking technologies
• Unattended solutions
• Plus, many special metal-removal processes like high speed or the cutting of hard materials
